Claire’s legal journey has been a tale of perseverance and dedication. Completing her Bachelor of Laws in 2019, she achieved a milestone in May 2020 when she was admitted as a Solicitor of the Supreme Court of New South Wales and High Court of Australia.

Before becoming a Solicitor in 2020, Claire first began her legal career in 2010 as a receptionist and quickly ascending into the roles of paralegal and practice manager at another local firm in the Northern Beaches before joining the Shipton & Associates’ team in 2017. Her dedication to the law, and legal practice, was evident from the very beginning.

Throughout her legal career, Claire has gained extensive experience in an array of areas of law – from criminal law to family law, wills and estates, conveyancing, property law, commercial matters and civil litigation.

Claire enjoys an excellent rapport and empathy with her clients and prides herself on her attention to detail and her communication skills. Claire believes in building long lasting relationships with her clients and believes in open communication and ensuring that her clients are well-informed and at ease.

Outside the Law

Claire is an animal lover at heart and shares a special bond with her lovable ‘Puggle’ puppy, Morty. Some might say she has taken this bond a little bit too far as Morty often owns more clothing than Claire does.

On and off the court, Claire brings her competitive spirit, playing both indoor and outdoor netball on the Beaches for over a decade. Claire doesn’t do things in ‘halves’ and you can find her playing netball 3 times a week.
